The Theodore Parker Singers, led by Music Director Michael Johnson, welcomes new and returning singers to the first rehearsal of the church year. We don't have auditions, but some group singing experience and ability to read music are helpful.
There will be a discussion of W.E.B. Du Bois' Souls of Black Folks and bell hooks' All About Love on Tuesday, September 12, 7-8:30 pm in the parish hall. The meditation group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. in the parish hall parlor. We read a short poem and then share silent meditation time together for about 25 minutes. All are welcome to drop in.
