Summer Vespers
Parish Hall 70 Corey Street, West Roxbury, MA, United StatesThe theme of our final vespers service of the summer will be "Theodore Parker Acts: His Fugitive Slave Act Resistance." Julie McVay will share this exciting period in Boston's history through the eyes of Rev. Theodore Parker and his secretary, Hannah Stevenson. We'll end with a birthday cake to celebrate Teddy's 157th birthday (August 24, 1810).
Meditation Session
Parish Hall 70 Corey Street, West Roxbury, MA, United StatesThe meditation group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. in the parish hall parlor. We read a short poem and then share silent meditation time together for about 25 minutes. All are welcome to drop in.
