Connecting with Church Life
Are you new (or new-ish) to Theodore Parker Church? Besides visiting our website, here are a few suggestions to stay “in the loop”.
- Subscribe to our weekly e-newsletter, “Theodore Parker Church This Week.” Send a message to the office. Be sure to tell us your name.
- Subscribe to TPC Talk, our congregational Google group. It is a forum for information and discussion about all aspects of the church community, and a good place for newcomers to learn more about us. Contact the group moderator to join. Note that posts must comply with our group guidelines.
- Subscribe to the Racial Justice Task Force (RJTF) Google group, a forum for information and discussion about the church’s racial and social justice actions and activities. Contact the group moderator to join.
- Contact the webmaster to receive messages from the Caring Ministry Team. The CMT facilitates support for members of our church community who are facing challenges due to illness, loss, transition, and other concerns.
- Request access to the Members & Friends page of the church website by sending a request to the webmaster. While most of our website is public, a password is required to access this page (found by clicking on the “About” tab on the home page navigation bar). On that page are posted the church bylaws and other important documents; budget information; minutes of Board and annual meetings; checklists for service coordinators; and policies and procedures for various church activities.
- Visit the church’s Facebook page for announcements; the Facebook Group for more interactive information.
- Follow our Instagram.
- Sign up for Breeze, our church management system. When you become a Breeze “user,” you will have access to our directory of members and friends, your personal record of financial donations to the church, and a calendar of church events and meetings.
