Are today’s UUs descended from an elite cultural establishment?  Are we all white, upper-middle-class, highly educated people, or are we more diverse than we think?  Rev. Mark W. Harris considers the notion that Unitarian-Universalism has limited appeal. Rev.  Harris is the minister at the First Parish of Watertown, where he has served since 1996.  He is also an adjunct professor at Andover Newton Theological School and the author of Elite: Uncovering Classism in Unitarian Universalist History and (with Andrea Greenwood) An Introduction to the Unitarian and Universalist Traditions.
