On this Indigenous People’s Day weekend, we honor and explore the wisdom of indigenous teachings about our relationship with the living world around us. As a congregation with colonial roots, can we reckon with our ongoing role in colonization, while deepening our relationship with indigenous teachings and with the land itself? With particular gratitude to Robin Wall Kimmerer (from whom our title comes) and her invitation to widen our worldviews, let us enter this complex exploration together. The service will be led by our Lifespan Religious Educator, Rose Gallogly, and lay leader Ruth Kahn.
