The Rev. Mary Margaret Earl was installed last year as executive director and senior minister of the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry. She arrived at the UU Urban Ministry in John Eliot Square in Roxbury after spending the previous ten years at McAuley Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit in Providence, R.I., that provides food, clothing, and shelter  to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming so.
