We’re pleased to welcome guest preacher Dr. Alice Rothchild to our pulpit. Here is a little bit about her from her website:
Alice Rothchild is a retired obstetrician-gynecologist who worked in the health care reform and women’s movements for many years. She directed a documentary film and is now writing and speaking, and blogs when inspired or particularly outraged by the state of the world. Since 1997, she has focused much of her energy on understanding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
Dr. Rothchild’s life and political choices have challenged the relationships of her early support, requiring her to find kinship and sanctuary in new environments. She’ll share with us the experiences that have resulted from the decision to follow her heart.
