Our last service before a summer break is the annual Flower Communion — the hundredth anniversary of a distinctly UU ritual instituted by Rev. Norbert Capek, minister of the Prague Unitarian Church. Those joining us in person are invited to each bring a flower, add it to our altar of communal bouquets, and take home a different flower than you brought. Those joining online are encouraged to have a flower with them at their device, as we all bless the flowers, one another, and the joy of being in community together. We also will say a fond farewell to Rev. Jo, and we honor our journey of interim ministry together. (Note: As the last service of the church year, plan for about a 75 minute service rather than our usual 60.)
