New Divisions in Black America – January 20, 2013

Those of us who grew up during the Civil Rights movement could not have predicted the changes of the past 50 years. Eugene Robinson describes many of these changes in the divisions he says now shape the Black community today. Rev. Phyllis O’Connell explores the questions “What accounts for the divisions, and how did they happen?”

The TPC House Band provided much of the music for this service. You can see and hear them lead the congregation singing “We Shall Overcome” on YouTube.
