Ruth Kahn and Tom Keydel are the lay leaders for this week’s service that examines the idea of Liberating Love. Love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our shared values. When love becomes “liberated” we are free to express our concern for others and ourselves. For Tom, this means that each of us is meant for love and beauty. With Liberating Love, we accept ourselves as we are and let that understanding take us where we need to go. For Ruth, this means that we do not let “reality” limit the reach of our goals. With Liberating Love, we know that we must “dream” a little dream to be more than the limits we face. Building on two Greatest Gen hits from the 1940’s, expect to be ennobled by the liberating power of love and how is it “more than just an imagining.”
Join in person or on Zoom. Masks are optional at our services.
There will be programming for elementary school-age children during our service. Childcare for children under age 4 will be available in the nursery in the parish hall.
