Having explored a number of ancient stories from the Hebrew Scriptures, Rev. Lilli Nye considers how, and whether, they have a place as templates for the challenges of today. Even as these stories invoke mystery and the journey of faith, they also emerge from a tribal world view that is problematic when applied to today’s turbulent world. This Sunday, we also welcome new members to TPC and say farewell to our director of religious exploration, Megan Gleeson. Special guest cellist Jonathan Schwartz joins Yukiko Takagi in providing the music.
