For our annual Poetry Sunday service, we are paying tribute to poet Mary Oliver, who died in January 2019. She has been a profoundly influential poet whose work reflects a deep communion with the natural world. Oliver’s work has been inspirational for many Unitarian Universalists and for many of us here in our congregation. Come hear “Why I Wake Early,” “Softest of Mornings,” and “Wild Geese,” and many others. It is sure to be an inspiring service of quiet reflection on the power of the spoken word.
