The theme of our final summer vespers is “Theodore Parker Acts:  His Fugitive Slave Act Resistance.” Julie McVay will share this exciting period in Boston’s history through the eyes of Rev. Theodore Parker and Hannah Stevenson, his secretary and confidante. We’ll end by sharing a birthday cake to celebrate Teddy’s 157th birthday (August 24, 1810).
