In some years past, on the final Sunday of the calendar year we’ve held our worship service in the manner of Quakers. It’s a contemplative time when attendees come together in quiet. Out of this communal quiet, we offer spontaneous contributions to the service as we are moved: reflections, prayers, readings, even invitations to song! The service will be led by Mark Bauer, a long-term member of the Westport Friends (Quaker) Meeting as well as a member here at TPC. Come close out the old year and begin the new with contemplative worship that is grounded in the deep quiet of our community.
