A sobering start to our Ingathering Service this year is the reality that it falls on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Our celebration of regathering is tempered by thoughts of how the world and our lives have changed in the last decade and a half. Nonetheless, we are glad to be joyfully together to greet one another, share the waters of our various journeys, and gratefully ring in a new church year.
