Theodore Parker Church celebrates the beginning of its 300th year and counting. We will have a full day of celebration to mark the anniversary. At the 10:30 service, we will honor those pioneers within our congregation who could see the vibrant church that we have become, and the ministers who led us in that adventure (including Theodore Parker, pictured here). Our 2:00 program, “Three Centuries of Music and Worship,” takes us on a journey describing life in the community and the church through the years with period music and two premieres of music written especially for the day. A celebratory reception follows in the parish hall. Many from the community and the larger UUA and legislative worlds, including former ministers and interns, have been invited to join us. Plan to be here for this celebration of our church’s long and fascinating history.
