Theodore Parker Church is committed to exploring ways to expand inclusion in community and influence in the world by undertaking the Widening the Circle of Concern initiative developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association. The Board has empowered a core team to spearhead this initiative and engage key committees in this process of strengthening our existing efforts toward greater diversity and inclusion.

The church’s activities to promote Widening the Circle include:

• Awareness activities, including worship services, and notices in the weekly e-news about events and initiatives
• Educational workshops, including discussions on the text of Widening the Circle
• Coverage in local media of our Widening the Circle activities and events.
